Course Objectives: The U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary’s Boating Skills & Seamanship course is a comprehensive course designed for both the experienced and the novice boater. This course presents information that is vital to every boater. It is designed to help you sharpen essential skills and to help you become a better and safer boater. With these skills and knowledge, you can avoid problems and enhance your boating activities. You will become more aware of what might happen to you and how to avoid it. You will also learn how to help yourself and how to help others.
Some insurance companies reduce boat insurance premiums for
successful completion of this course.

GPS
For Mariners - Next Class to be determined.
This
8 hour class will cover the basic use of GPS equipment for
recreational boaters. It is not necessary to own a GPS
device. The
class costs $30 which includes a course text. To get on
